By virtue of the strategic partnership, Circle Squared and Hampshire will develop specific alternative investment opportunities for portfolios of high net worth investors. The suite of real estate strategies will focus on varying objectives, including, but not limited to, vehicles that seek to produce current income while also offering long term appreciation.

In the 90 years since Hampshire’s inception, the company has invested in diverse and complex property, corporate, and portfolio transactions valued at $2.5 billion, including 259 properties in 28 states totaling over 25 million square feet. Hampshire has applied its investment strategy by acquiring, developing, leasing, repositioning, managing, financing and disposing of real estate. Jon F. Hanson is the Chairman and Founder of the Hampshire Companies and has over 54 years of real estate experience. In May of 2011, Mr. Hanson concluded 20 years of service to the Prudential Financial Corp’s Board of Directors with the last five years serving as the Lead Director.

Mr. Hanson is currently Chairman Emeritus of HealthSouth Corp., Inc. and the Chairman of the Board of Pascack Community Bank and is a Director of Yankee Global Enterprises. He currently serves as Chairman of the NJ Gaming-Sports and Entertainment Advisory Committee and is the past Chairman of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
